Bushnell is known for making excellent outdoor products and the Onix 400 is no exception. The rugged and waterproof unit is wrapped in rubber armor and is waterproof to IPX7 standards. The Onix 400 has a 20 channel SIRF GPS receiver for the best sensitivity in any environment. The Bushnell Onix 400’s large 3.5” color display is sunlight viewable, making it perfect for outdoor use.
The Bushnell Onix 400 is the first handheld GPS unit to integrate XM weather and radio data. The XM service will put a Nexrad radar image right on top of the map in the Onix 400. Knowing what weather is coming can be a tremendous help on your next outdoor adventure. With an audio jack on the Onix 400 connect a set of headphones and enjoy over 170 XM radio channels. A monthly subscription through XM radio is required to get Weather and Audio service. With the purchase of the Onix 400 you are able to download 4 free Satellite photos from Bushnell. With the TruView navigation you can display satellite photos, topo maps, compass, navigational aids, and XM data on one screen all clearly displayed.
Other features include a simple to use operating system that will get you navigating in no time at all. The Onix 400 also has a digital compass for accurate headings. An imbedded 128MB microSD card provides storage for satellite images and topo maps. A dedicated hot button brings you directly to important system settings and features. The rechargeable lithium ion battery will work for up to 32 hours depending on usage.
