A free lifetime of real time traffic updates, lane assist, and 3D buildings, the Garmin Nuvi 765T is one sophisticated navigation system. Starting at the core, the Nuvi 765T has a high sensitivity GPS receiver for exceptional GPS tracking and satellite acquisitions. The bright, large, wide 4.3” touch screen display makes for easy viewing in any lighting condition and allows for an easy to use interface. If your trip takes you through several time zones, the Nuvi 765T will automatically adjust the time when you cross a time line.
Travel with confidence knowing that the Nuvi 765 T has detailed maps for all of the United States and Canada. The highly detailed maps from Navteq are built right into the 765T and they also include over 6 million points of interest for you to set as your destination. When you are ready to enter your destination, simply use the touch screen to enter the exact address or POI name that you are traveling to and the Garmin 765T will do the rest. Once the Garmin 765T has calculated your route, it will guide you there with on screen directions as well as verbal commands that included spoken street names. When traveling on a major highway the lane assist feature will tell you what lane to be in for your next maneuver and will show you road sign detail. The Garmin 765T will even recalculate your route and get you back on track if you make an incorrect turn saving you time and gas.
The Nuvi 765T comes with the Garmin FM traffic receiver for real time traffic information from Navteq. The Navteq traffic information is transmitted through an FM broadcast to your receiver allowing the unit to use that information and route you around any delays, including traffic jams, construction, or accidents. The Garmin unit is also Bluetooth compatible and will connect with most Bluetooth phones to enable hands free calling right through the Nuvi 765T’s on board speaker and microphone.
