The Garmin eTrex H offers a new spin on a classic unit. Garmin took their basic e-Trex unit and revamped it with the latest GPS receiver technology. The H stands for high-sensitivity, built-in to the unit is a highly sensitive WAAS receiver that provides superb reception in heavy tree cover and canyons. Just like all of the other e-Trex series units, the e-Trex H is compact and light weight at mere 5.3 ounces with batteries, with the buttons positioned on the side for easy, one handed operation. The casing is rugged and waterproof to IPX-7 standards which means it can handle bad weather. Using just two AA batteries the e-Trex H will operate for approximately 15 hours. The Garmin e-Trex H has storage for up to 500 waypoints with name and symbol, 20 routes with up to 125 waypoints per route and a track log that holds 10,000 track log points with the ability to save 10 tracks.
