he Gilsson amplified antenna is fully compatible with Garmin receivers that have BNC connectors and provides excellent reception with it's "active" style antenna allowing better reception between your GPS system and the antenna. The Gilsson BNC antenna comes with a built-in magnet for vehicle rooftop mounting or any metallic surface. Gilsson has the antenna setup to where you can remove the magnet for use by hikers, pilots as well as boaters to prevent interference with magnetic compass readings. In addition, Gilsson has incorporated mounting holes to allow you with a variety of mounting options. (i.e. automotive surfaces, boat surfaces, aircraft fuselage) The Gilsson BNC antenna comes as a right angle BNC connector with 9ft of cable. Compatible with Garmin StreetPilot III, GPS II+, III+, GPS V, 276C (BNC). This antenna by Gilsson is comparable to Garmin Part number 010-10052-04.
