The Gilsson amplified antenna is fully compatible with Garmin receivers that have MCX connectors and provides excellent reception with its "active" style antenna allowing better reception between your GPS system and the antenna. The Gilsson MCX antenna comes with a built-in magnet for vehicle rooftop mounting or any metallic surface. Gilsson has the antenna setup to where you can remove the magnet for use by hikers, pilots as well as boaters to prevent interference with magnetic compass readings. In addition, Gilsson has incorporated mounting holes to allow you with a variety of mounting options.(i.e. automotive surfaces, boat surfaces, aircraft fuselage) Gilsson MCX external antennas can be ordered either as a 90 or as a 180 degree angle as well as 9ft of cable for added convenience of installation. Compatible with Garmin 12XL, iQue, Quest, StreetPilot 2610, GPSMAP 60CS, 76 Series (MCX). Comparable to Garmin part number 010-10052-05
