For anyone who has ever wanted to watch Satellite TV on your boat or yacht, the KVH TracVision M1 DIRECTV Satellite TV Antenna is a small Satellite antenna that is an easy to use solution for boats as small as 20’. The dome will automatically acquire satellites and output hundreds of channels of digital quality satellite television by DIRECTV through Audio/Video jacks that can be used in a TV or compatible chartplotter.
KVH packed a small 12.5" Antenna into the M1's 13” diameter dome that weighs only 7.5lbs, yet performs and receives like previous larger systems. The M1 uses KVH’s all new RingFire technology which utilizes a new antenna design to increase coverage area and quality of reception. The newly improved antenna will not only increase range, it will also track while on the move in all sea conditions.
Another great feature of the M1 is its ability to automatically acquire and switch satellites using the included remote control. There is no need to worry about having to listen to a loud dome either as the TracVision M1 uses the latest Ultra-Quiet motors to keep dome noise to a minumum. The Single-Cable install and a user-friendly onscreen system set-up make this unit a must have for any offshore fisherman or coastal cruiser.
