No Luck for McCumbee.
Looking forward to Texas
If not for bad luck, Chad McCumbee, driver of the #8 theGPSstore.com/Garmin Chevrolet would have no luck at all.
McCumbee knew that he had a good truck at the beginning of the weekend, "We went out in practice and I thought that we could contend for the win." McCumbee qualified 19th and by the first pitstop he made his way into the top ten. After running consistently in the top ten for the remainder of the race, McCumbee was making his way to the top 5 when a part in the engine let go ending their great run. "Man our luck, or lack there of, this year continues to kill our finishes. We had a great theGPSstore.com/Garmin truck at Atlanta. I felt as though we could have contended for our first win of the year if things would have played out right." McCumbee said after the disappointing finish.
Heading out of Atlanta and into Texas McCumbee, is excited. "With our showing in Atlanta, I think that people will be looking at us to be a contender in Texas. We are going to make a couple changes to truck, and be ready to contend for the win."
