Team hopes to build on good run.

Coming off his best weekend of the year, Chad McCumbee, driver of the #8 theGPSstore.com/Garmin Chevrolet, looks to carry over success to Talladega.

"Talladega is always one of the most exciting races of the year and I think this year will be the same. We had a good run last week and I think that will be a building block for this team for the rest of the year", McCumbee said heading into the race this weekend.

McCumbee had some earlier success at Daytona, with a 13th place finish to begin the year. The lessons learned there will carry over to Talladega. "Patience plays a huge part in being successful, especially at restrictor plate tracks. I feel confident about our chances in getting a good finish with theGPSstore.com/Garmin Chevrolet." McCumbee said of his biggest lesson learned at Daytona.

McCumbee will head into Talladega with new found confidence for the team. "I'm really excited about Talladega, but I'm just as excited about the rest of the year in general. I think our performance last week is a glimpse of what we are capable of going into tracks like Atlanta, Texas and Homestead. I think that if a couple things go our way, we can head to these tracks and run up front." McCumbee said about the rest of the season.
