Top 15 run boosts spirits.

Chad McCumbee driver of the #8 MRD theGPSstore.com/Garmin Chevy had scored his 4th top 15 of the year in Saturdays Ram Tough 200 at Gateway Int`l Raceway.

"That was the kind of run that this team is capable of week in and week out," McCumbee said after the race. "We unloaded great this weekend and even though we never really got a great deal of speed out of the truck I knew we would race alright. The pit stops were good and we were able to be consistent all race long, which lead to a solid finish."

"I am excited because we had a good test on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. I think what we learned there is going to help us in the future." McCumbee said.

McCumbee and the #8 MRD theGPSstore.com/Garmin Chevy are going to enjoy the weekend off, but are ready to get back to the track.

"The week off is kind of a farce, we are going to be testing and getting things ready for the upcoming weeks. We have some good tracks coming up for us. The team has been working extremely hard in the shop and at the race track. After this weekend, this is just what everyone needed."
