The Standard Horizon GX1100S Eclipse DSC Plus marine VHF radio is compact and affordable. Looking to add the security of a top of the line VHF without the price, the Eclipse 1100S comes standard with Class D Digital Selective Calling, or DSC for short, capability allowing you to send for help if needed.(GPS connection required) With Class D DSC you are not only able to send a distress signal but the Eclipse DSC plus will also monitor channel 70 for any incoming DSC calls form other boats. The GX1100S has a large display that is easy to read and the entire front panel of the radio is waterproof to an IPX7 rating. You even have dedicated buttons for 16/9 and weather channels, channel up, channel down, high/low power, and scan. The Eclipse DSC Plus radio is available in white and black.
