The 3.5” color touch screen display makes it simple to operate and easy to see in any lighting condition. The QuickGPSFix technology that is inside the TomTom 140 S will ensure that you have the fastest satellite acquisition available. TomTom MapShare allows you to edit the maps in the 140 and even share your changes with other TomTom users.
The 140S will calculate the best route based on the time of day and the average traveling speeds of the roads between you and your destination with the IQ Routes 24/7 feature. The built in internal speaker will give loud and clear directions announcing the street names that you are turning on to. If you take a wrong turn the ultra fast route recalculation will get you right back on track to your destination. When traveling on a major highway the Advanced Lane Guidance feature will prompt you ahead of time as to which lane to be in for the next maneuver.
