Once an incident occurs, the Dash Cam Mini 3 goes to work and starts to record and then automatically save the video it captured (some jurisdictions regulate or prohibit use of this device). Saving time when it comes to downloading or editing large video files imperative and Garmin kept that in mind when creating their online vault.

With a paid Vault Subscription and an active Wi-Fi network, drivers have the ability to access high-end features such as a Dash Cam Live View. Once your videos are automatically saved, you can view and share them through the Drive Smartphone app. Nonpaid users are only able to view and download files when near the Dash Cam Mini 3.

Simplified voice controls, available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Swedish, will allow drivers to speak commands to the Mini 3 such as “save video”, “start recording”, “stop recording” keeping drivers focused on the road while maintaining the functionality of the Garmin Dash Cam Mini 3.
