Outdoor Maps+ (subscription required) allow users to download premium map content such as slope angle, slope aspect, avalanche risk reports, and more. Tough terrain guidance provides built-in sensors that include an altimeter, barometer, compass, and pitch/roll gauges. These are great additions to your Tread 2 for those overlander enthusiasts.

Track your friends’ locations as you ride via the Tread app on the group ride mobile feature (requires an active cellular connection) when you and your friends both have this downloaded to your compatible smartphone which is enabled with Bluetooth technology. You also have the freedom to pair your Garmin Tread 2 with the 6” group ride radio accessory for voice communication and tracking outside of a cellular network (sold separately; group tracking is available for riders using a compatible Garmin navigator and requires a connection to vehicle power).
