A driving performance optimizer, the Garmin Catalyst is a must have for life in the fast lane. Receive real-time live audio coaching assistance right in the cockpit of your car, via Bluetooth to a compatible headset or straight through your vehicles Bluetooth capable stereo and make changes to your driving on the fly. Global preloaded track coverage throughout the world will allow the Catalyst to provide you up to date track information no matter where you travel.

The Catalyst takes driving data and merges it with information it knows about the track you are driving on. This device presents section by section information about laps driven and the included camera matches your driving and allows it to be synced with data gathered on the Catalyst. In order to determine exactly where a vehicle is on a track, Garmin is introducing what it calls True Track Positioning technology. It uses image processing from the camera, built-in accelerometers, and the higher-resolution tracking of 10 Hz multi-GNSS positioning. All of this data gathering gives the device the position of the vehicle on the track plus its acceleration and braking.

Included with your Catalyst 7-inch colored console is a remote camera with a polarized lens that records crisp images in 1080p which can be played back on the Catalyst device with time synced overlays which will also provide you with lap data, speed, and more. Enhanced performance metrics which show best lap times, number of laps, session times, and easily compare your performance data from other sessions to get immediate adaptive suggestions for future races. Access data summaries on a mobile device or computer using Garmin Connect when connected with an active Wi-Fi connection.
