Sophisticated Dive Computer with Air Monitoring Support and LED Flashlight

The Garmin Descent Mk3i 51mm combines an advanced dive computer with the everyday functionality of a premium Garmin multisport GPS smartwatch. Designed for serious divers and active adventurers, the Mk3i features a bright 1.4” AMOLED color display, scratch-resistant sapphire lens, 200-meter dive-rated case and leakproof metal inductive buttons. Its rugged construction is made for demanding underwater environments while still delivering the refined design and smart features you’ll want to wear every day.

Take your diving experience to the next level with SubWave sonar-based communication and air integration. When paired with compatible Descent T2 transceivers, sold separately, the Mk3i can monitor tank pressure on up to eight tanks through the SubWave sonar data network. Divers can exchange preset diver-to-diver messages from up to 30 meters away and monitor tank pressure and depth for up to eight divers within a 10-meter range, providing valuable information right from the wrist.

Multiple dive modes make the Descent Mk3i ready for everything from recreational dives to more advanced underwater adventures. Choose from single- and multiple-gas dive modes, including nitrox and trimix, as well as gauge, apnea, apnea hunt and closed-circuit rebreather modes. The Dive Readiness tool uses factors such as sleep, exercise, stress and jet lag to help you gauge how prepared your body may be to dive, while NDL Aware depth metrics show how changes in depth can affect your no-decompression limit in real time.

Explore below the surface with DiveView color maps, featuring bathymetric depth contours and more than 4,000 dive sites to help you discover new locations and get oriented. Surface GPS can track your dive entry and exit points, while a built-in underwater compass helps with navigation during the dive. When the adventure is over, pair the Mk3i with the Garmin Dive app to automatically sync dive logs, review dive information, track your gear, add notes and share your dives.

The Descent Mk3i also includes a variety of features designed to make time in and around the water easier. A built-in LED flashlight provides variable light intensities and strobe modes for use above or below the surface, while Lume Mode improves readability in low-light conditions. Big Numbers Mode provides a simplified display with larger text for viewing critical dive data, and the watch offers up to 66 hours of battery life in dive mode and up to 25 days in smartwatch mode.

Once you’re back on land, the Descent Mk3i becomes a powerful Garmin multisport and everyday smartwatch. Preloaded activity profiles support running, swimming, biking, hiking, rowing, skiing, golf and more, with advanced training features including VO2 max, recovery time, daily suggested workouts, Garmin Coach, endurance score and hill score. Multi-band GPS with SatIQ technology, TopoActive maps and ABC sensors provide additional navigation.
