When paired with a compatible device or smartphone, you can receive smart notifications for emails, texts, and alerts right on your wrist so you never miss something important while on the go. Built-in incident detection, when your G1 and smartphone are paired, allows your live location to be sent manually or during select outdoor activities Garmin Connect will send your name and location using the LiveTrack location feature. LiveTrack creates a real-time feed of your location and sends it to emergency contacts previously set up in the Garmin Connect App.
