The Ocean Signal rescueME EPIRB3 Pro Category I with auto release housing is perfect for recreational or commercial users alike, bringing an added peace of mind for safety every time your boat enters the water. Each EPIRB3 Pro comes with an auto release, float free bracket that can be manually deployed on deck, automatically deployed when a vessel is sinking and will float itself to the surface, or for manual activation for use in a life raft. An internal 72 channel satellite acquisition ensures that when an SOS is sent, search and rescue teams pinpoint your location and begin the rescue process more efficiently.
Incorporated into every EPIRB3 Pro is AIS technology which will start to transmit AIS signals in an emergency situation to nearby vessels that are equipped with AIS to notify them of your distress situation and location. If a nearby vessel is within VHF range, the EPIRB3 will send a safety message right to the other vessels screen that will include MMSI vessel identification. In an event where no vessels are nearby, an AIS transmission from your EPIRB3 Pro will speed up recovery times by allowing maritime search and rescue operators to pinpoint your EPIRBS location as they approach you.
Near Field Communication (NFC) and AIS are added features that effectively pairs your EPIRB3 Pro to global and local rescue teams maximizing effective rescue resources virtually anywhere in the world. NFC technology gives access to EPIRB diagnostics using a smartphone. When a smartphone is placed on top of the EPIRB3 Pro where you see “NFC”, an Ocean Signal Product App automatically opens to view beacon status information such as battery life, number of self-tests completed, number of GNSS tests performed, and the length of time your EPIRB has been activated. The GNSS testing can show a map view through the smartphone app pinpointing where a previous test was performed, with date & time information, how long it took your EPIRB to get a fix and more. It’s now easier than ever before to ensure this lifesaving device is ready to go when an emergency arises.
The Return Link Service (RLS) provide mariners with a visual confirmation that a distress signal has been received with the internal 121.5 MHz homing signal along with visible infrared strobe light to be seen at night or in poor visibility situations. Users will receive 48+ hours of operational life, a 5-year warranty and a 10-year battery life. Each EPIRB3 Pro comes with a CAT1 auto release float free bracket and a secure lanyard and is ready to take on your next boating adventure keeping safety first!
