This AP44 VRF High Capacity autopilot system provides you with everything you will need to build the ultimate autopilot system. The included intuitive controller offers a 4.1” color display with a rotary dial and button controls that make entering and changing information into the display a snap. This controller also allows for easy access to depth contour tracking, turn patterns, no drift steering and more.
Built for hydraulic steered outboard and stern driven vessels, up to 50ft. in length, the AP44 VRF includes an Pump-3 steering pump, NAC-3 computer, precision 9 solid-state compass, and all of your NMEA 2000 cables and connectors making installation on your boat easier than ever before. The included Pump-3 pump can support a cylinder displacement from 9.8 – 24 cubic inches and is driven by the NAC-3 computer. The preset built-in patters on your AP44 High Pack system are great for fishing, cruising, or diving. Make your preset selection, choose port or starboard and you are on your way.
Capable of doing more than just keeping you on a specified course, the AP44 VRF can track back to a specific sonar spot when connected to a compatible MFD, depth contour steering which helps you stay in line with ledges or drop-offs where fish may be inhabiting, and full integration to control your AP44 VRF through your MFD are all things that make this unit a must have. Reliable and responsive performance will be found in this Simrad AP44 High Capacity autopilot system and is a great addition to larger vessels.
