Via the Parking Guard feature, once your car is parked and you have an active Wi-Fi connection and the purchase of a constant power cable (sold separately), your Mini2 turns into an extra set of eyes for your parked vehicle and automatically alerts you with a video clip notification to the Garmin Drive app once an incident has been detected.

With an active Wi-Fi connection and the purchase of a constant power cable (sold separately), via the Garmin Drive app on your compatible smartphone, you gain Live Monitoring access from anywhere you park when your away from your vehicle. Also, through the Garmin Drive app with an active Wi-Fi connection on your compatible smartphone, you have full access to an online Vault where you can share video clips with others by sending a link and passcode to access this data in the online Vault for 24 hours from the time of upload. You can also purchase extended storage plans via paid subscriptions with Garmin for expanded video storage that can be shared.
