Preloaded detailed street maps for US, Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands and the Bahamas will allow you to drive confidently to your destination. Find popular points of interest with the preloaded Foursquare content that provides you with over a million new and popular points of interest, helping you find what you need quickly. Use the TripAdvisor search within your OTR700 and find ratings for hotels, restaurants, and attractions along your route or near your destination. Driver alerts encourage safe driving and increase situational awareness by alerting you of upcoming sharp curves, speed changes, railroad crossings, and more. Once your destination is approached, load to dock guidance kicks in and shows you potential loading zones and storage lots to help navigate you to the proper loading station.

Customize a truck profile specific to your rig and the Garmin OTR will find truck preferred routes based on the height, weight, length, and whether you are hauling hazardous materials. While in route to your destination, the OTR700 provides you with directories that allow you to select specific Truck & Trailer services whether you need a stop with showers or a specific stop such as “Flying J”. As you travel along your route, the OTR will provide you with “up ahead” points of interest in a timely fashion so you know specific rest areas or service stations that are upcoming. Connect wirelessly with your compatible smartphone and the GarminDrive app and the Dezl OTR will provide you with truck-specific parking areas at truck and rest stops making it easy to park your rig in areas designated for bigger vehicles.
