Use the TripAdvisor search within your OTR 810 and find ratings for hotels, restaurants, and attractions along your route or near your destination.

Pair with Garmin's Dezl App (available for Apple and Android) to get added features such as Truck Loyalty programs allowing you to view your travel plaza loyalty points, Pre-Pass Notifications (active pre-pass account required)- alerting you to upcoming weigh stations and bypass decisions, Smart notifications including on screen text message and other notifications as well as access to Live Traffic, Weather and real time fuel prices. You can even access photoLive traffic cameras where available.

Get custom truck routing (Not available in all areas. Vehicle characteristics may not be accounted for in all route suggestions. Defer to posted signs and road conditions.) based on the weight and dimensions of your vehicle, and get alerts for upcoming bridge heights, weight limits, sharp curves, steep grades and more. The route planner feature allows drivers to review their entire routes and determine the best places for breaks, fuel ups, and overnight stays.

Driver alerts encourage safe driving and increase situational awareness by alerting you of upcoming sharp curves, speed changes, railroad crossings, and more. Once your destination is approached, load to dock guidance kicks in and shows you potential loading zones and storage lots to help navigate you to the proper loading station. In addition, the 810 allows for a split screen view providing drivers with an overview of your remaining route as well as impending wind and weather conditions alongside your active map screen!

While in route to your destination, the OTR810 provides you with directories that allow you to select specific Truck & Trailer services whether you need a stop with showers or a specific stop such as “LOVE’s”. As you travel along your route, the OTR will provide you with “up ahead” points of interest in a timely fashion so you know specific rest areas or service stations that are upcoming. You can even See what you can expect at your next stop with BirdsEye Satellite Imagery! Ensuring a smooth arrival with high-resolution aerial views of loading docks, truck entrances and security gates.

With voice activation, The OTR 810 responds to your voice and spoken requests - the OTR even includes Bluetooth Wireless technology allowing you to pair your smartphone with your unit and place and answer calls without having to fumble for your phone!
