The GPSMAP 943 from Garmin is designed around a crisp 9” touchscreen display, sunlight readability and visibility from any angle. With added processing power and new slimline design featuring edge-to edge glass with a smaller footprint, the GPSMAP offers both flush or bracket mount options with the included kits.
Garmin BlueChart G3 and LakeVu G3 Charts are preloaded on to every GPSMAP 943. The G3 charts combine Garmin and Navionics data to provide detailed information including Depth Range Shading, up to 1-foot contours providing an accurate depiction of the bottom structure and Auto Guidance Technology which suggests a path to follow and overlays it on yo¬ur chart. Coverage includes both Coastal and Lake Waters within the United States, including the Bahamas. If the included mapping isn’t enough or you’re traveling outside of the included area, the 943 is compatible with Garmin BlueChart G3 Vision and LakeVu G3 Ultra charts featuring High Resolution Relief Shading (not offered in all areas), Aerial Photography and FishEye/MarinerEye Views. The Garmin LakeVu G3 Ultra charts also include Dynamic Lake Levels which adjusts your maps to the lake’s current water level to provide a better idea of Lake Accessibility.
Feel confident with accurate waypoints and routes with the 10HZ internal antenna updating 10 times per second. The 943 is compatible with multiple Garmin devices on your boat. You can connect radar, sonar modules, Sirius weather and even cameras. NMEA2000 and NMEA 0183 interfacing allows you to share numerical data among VHF and even an autopilot.
