Garmin’s “Most Responsive Autopilot System on the Water”

The GHP Reactor 40 Hydraulic Autopilot Corepack from Garmin is compatible with any Garmin hydraulic pump to provide an autopilot experience typically found only on larger commercial vessels. The Reactor 40 Hydraulic Corepack incorporates a solid state 9 Axis Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) that enables you to mount the Corepack virtually anywhere and in any orientation and still receive optimum performance, minimizing heading error, course deviation, rudder movement, and power consumption, all while providing a more comfortable ride for all onboard. Of course the Reactor 40 Autopilot Corepack includes Garmin’s patented Shadow Drive Technology which allows the Captain to take control of the helm and steer the vessel and then by just holding a steady course it will reengage.

The Reactor40 Autopilot Corepack offers sailing features including heading hold, wind hold, tack/jibe, and step turns. The Reactor 40 Autopilots are fully compatible with a large number of Garmin chartplotters to easily share heading data that can be used with BlueChart® g3 Vision® charts or Garmin Navionics Vision+ charts (sold separately), to gain optional features like Auto Guidance, which automatically steers GPS paths based on safe navigation and boat specs.

The included 1.2L autopilot pump kit pairs with the Reactor 40 system to pump hydraulic fluid to the steering cylinders and steer the boat. New and improved with ORB hydraulic ports and threaded cable collars for increased durability. The 1.2L pump is appropriate for hydraulically steered vessels from 6-14 cubic inches.
