The AP44 VRF Pack comes with everything a boater needs to upgrade their vessel with the Simrad Continuum autopilot system. This kit will include everything you will need to build an autopilot system for any hydraulic steered outboard system or sterndrive (I/O) boat up to 35 feet long. The AP44 includes a 4.1” color display, Pump-2 hydraulic steering pump, NAC-2 autopilot computer, Precision-9 solid-state compass, plus all necessary NMEA 2000 cables and connectors and the included Pump-2 reversible hydraulic pump can handle a cubic inch capacity of 4.88 - 15.25 and is driven by the NAC-2 computer.

The AP44 features a compact design making it ideal for boats with limited mounting space and an excellent choice for all types of leisure crafts. The unit’s large, bright, and highly visible numeric data display make it easy to read, even from a distance. An intuitive rotary dial and button controls make entering and changing information into the display a snap. This controller also allows for easy access to depth contour tracking, turn patterns, no drift steering and more.

Giving you full access to different built in turns and patterns, you can select patterns such as spirals, zigzags, and more. Select the pattern that’s right for you whether it’s for cruising or fishing and you’re on your way. Simply network the AP44 with a compatible echo sounder to enable depth contour tracking, auto-steering to keep a constant depth of water beneath the boat without having to enter multiple waypoints along a route. Working closely with all of these other listed features/components, the AP44 VRF offers a Precision 9 Compass providing each mariner with accurate and precise heading information to be shared to the autopilot and with other devices on the NMEA 2000 network.
