The Garmin GMR Fantom 126 solid-state, open array radar offers industry leading technology with 120 watts of power (equivalent to a 15kW magnetron) as well as close and long range detection from 20’ up to 96 nautical miles, even when weather conditions aren’t up to par. Easy to use and a simplified installation and setup, make this radar virtually ready to go out of the box.

Garmin built the Fantom 126 to quickly detect and highlight moving targets in different colors to enhance your situational awareness and help you avoid potential collisions. Displaying shorelines, other vessels, and impending weather on your compatible Garmin plotter, the GMR 126 can effectively distinguish between small and large targets as well as adjust the rotation speed for faster screen updates on your MFD.

With MotionScope Technology the Fantom radars detect and highlight moving targets in different colors to keep situational awareness at a maximum. Avoid potential collisions, find flocks of birds and even track weather! Pulse compression technology provides each end user high-resolution imaging while maximizing energy to provide you with the most up to date and most detailed radar image possible on your Garmin compatible MFD.

Dynamic Auto Gain and Sea Filter settings will automatically adjust the Fantom 126 to your surroundings and adjusts gain to ensure maximum performance in all settings. Dual Range with Radar Overlay (optional heading sensor or autopilot is recommended for most accurate results) allows you to view close and long range targets side by side on your chartplotter map page or viewed as a chart overlay. MARPA Target tracking allows you to track up to 10 selected targets so you are always aware of your surroundings. The Garmin GMR Fantom 126 open array radar is compatible with GPSMAP 7x2, 9x2, 10x2, 12x2, 7400, 7600, 8000, 8200, 8400 and 8600 series and offers reliable performance every time it’s in use.
