The Si-Tex T-2040-3 radar is a large screen color display paired with a 3.5’ Open Array with 4 kW of power with coverage up to 48 nautical miles.
Providing the captain of the vessel a large 10.4” color TFT LED display, the T2040-3
provides plenty of room to split the screen to view both large and short range targets and to view the images from the 3.5’ 4 kW open array. The T-2040-3 also provides a clear display allowing you to quickly identify targets with a trail indicating that they are in motion and the direction of that movement.
With the ability to spin at both 24 and 48 rpm the T-2040-3 radar can provide the higher 48 rpm rotation for river or high traffic operation and a slower 24 rpm rotation for open waters. If you are a fisherman an open array like the T-2040-3 should be able to spot birds with the gain turned up. The SiTex 2000 radar series include both the ARPA and AIS PCB’s (50 ARPA targets and 100 AIS targets).
The T2040-3 3.5’ 4 kW Open Array radar is not for all boats but if you want to have a standalone large screen radar for you commercial or larger recreation vessel then this offering from Si-Tex is another one to consider.
