Send and Receive Important Vessel Information and enhance Situational Awareness
The ACR 2676 Class B AIS Transponder is a must have for any vessel and offers boat owners with an added peace of mind every time their boat leaves the dock. This CB2 model offers faster refresh rates with transmissions at every 5 seconds over leading models that were at every 30 seconds, and also transmits at 5 watts of power versus older AIS models that only transmitted at 2 watts, so now your boat can broadcast to a larger area with improved visibility. This faster reporting feature has reserved time slots for each transmission to ensure your vessels broadcasts don’t get blocked in higher traffic areas and where you need to be seen most.
With the utilization of 99 acquisition channels and 33 tracking channels, an internal multi-GPS receiver will continuously transmit your vessels information including position, course, heading, speed, and more ensuring your location is broadcasted with the utmost accuracy at all times. The AISLink CB2 will additionally transmit static information which will also include MMSI#, call sign, vessel name/type and more. All of these features convey a more real-time picture of your vessels position and enables each of your transmissions to reach further than ever before.
Within minutes of installation on your vessel, you can start the transmission of your AIS data messages and enjoy all the aspects of your AISLink CB2 transponder. Knowing your vessel can be seen night or day and in any weather conditions makes each time out on the water a more enjoyable one. Simplified networking capabilities between the CB2 and other onboard components can be completed through WiFi, USB, NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000 connectivity, making data sharing easier than ever.
