This lightweight GPS is a mere 3.8 oz and operates on (2) AAA batteries (not included). The Garmin Foretrex 801 is compatible with the Garmin Explore App. Easy plan and review your adventures within the free smartphone app. The 801 can even display smart notifications when paired with your compatible smartphone or Garmin inReach satellite communicator (both sold separately).
