Make the mission possible with the Garmin Foretrex 901 wrist-worn GPS navigator. The 901 features a large 2.2" monochrome MIP display with an IPX7 water rating. This lightweight GPS is a mere 3.8 oz and operates on (2) AAA batteries (not included). Upgraded multi-band GNSS and advanced navigation sensors help you explore with confidence knowing your position is reliable and accurate.
Tactical features are at the forefront of the Foretrex 901. Jumpmaster, stealth mode and kill switch ensure you are ready for the mission. The monochromatic MIP screen is easy to read with night vision goggles. Built to military standards- the Foretrex 901 truly is a tactical GPS navigator.
The Foretrex 901 includes an Applied Ballistics Solver for precise long-range elevation and windage solutions. In addition to the Ballistics Calculator, the 901 is compatible with the AB Synapse Garmin app to manage ballistics profiles. AB Synapse allows you to create and send custom ballistic profiles to your Foretrex 901. AB Synapse also allows access to their Bullet Library which contains more than 1,200 custom measured bullets.
Navigation sensors allow you to explore with confidence knowing you have the tools you need! The 901 includes a 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis compass and barometric altimeter.
The last thing you want to worry about is battery life. This is why Garmin has designed the Foretrex 901 to get up to 100 hours of battery life in default GPS mode and up to 1,000 hours in expedition mode.
The Garmin Foretrex 901 is compatible with the Garmin Explore App. Easy plan and review your adventures within the free smartphone app. The 901 can even display smart notifications when paired with your compatible smartphone or Garmin inReach satellite communicator (both sold separately).
