Add to that echo trails and you will now see a fading trail on screen which will assist in identifying moving targets and know if they're headed your way. Add an autopilot or heading sensor to your Garmin network and it will then correct the trails based on boat rotation.

Dual Range with Radar Overlay (Optional Heading sensor or autopilot is recommended for most accurate results) allows you to view both close and long range targets side by side on your chartplotter map page or viewed as a chart overlay. And with MARPA Target tracking you can track up to 10 selected targets allowing you to keep track of other vessels and avoid potential collisions.
