9-Inch Touch Display with Active Imaging Sonar and Simrad Halo Radar

The Simrad NSX 3009 multifunction display has a 9-inch SolarMax IPS touchscreen display for top notch viewability in harsh conditions. The IPS display provides extreme clarity even when viewed with polarized sunglasses. The internal 10Hz GPS receiver operates off of WASS, MSAS and EGNOS satellites to provide a highly accurate GPS position. With a display resolution of 1280x720 pixels and a bright white backlight, the 3009 provides crisp, clear images.

Simrad s Setup Wizard helps you get on the water faster with step-by-step setup instructions. Software updates, on and off water trip planning and easy transfer of data are also available via the Simrad App.

Operation of the NSX 3009 display is simple and straightforward. Drag-and-drop screen customizations and a fully editable instruments bar with day and night modes are just a couple of reasons why the NSX is one of the easiest to use units on the market.

The Simrad NSX 3009 includes Simrad s Active Imaging 3-in-1 transducer, capable of providing high resolution images 300 ft below and to the sides of your vessel (conditions permitting). Active Imaging 3-in-1 sonar provides CHIRP, DownScan and SideScan sonar all from a single transom mount transducer.

The single network port located on the back of the display allows for connection to Simrad s series of Halo Radars. A single NMEA 2000 port provides connectivity to AIS and NAC-1, NAC-2, NAC-3 and NAC-D autopilots. Currently the NSX series does not support weather accessories. A single USB port enabling modem plug-in for additional device connectivity.

Included with this bundle is the Halo 20+ Radar dome. A superior option for collision avoidance while on the water. Built with a full, 360 degree sweep, updated every second, the Halo 20+ provides a mariner with an almost real time view of objects at close range, great for avoidances and fast moving targets. Ultra-Fast 60RPM operation works at ranges up to 1.5nm and offers a maximum 36nm range for normal radar target detection. High end features such as built-in VelocityTrack Doppler Technology, separates this radar from others on the market. The Velocity Track Technology offers simple color coding to highlight potential hazards, automatically checks every target within range, eliminating the need to manually select individual targets. No limit to the number of targets you see on your MFD, your situational awareness and reduced risk of collision will be enhanced every time your boat enters the water.

CMAP Discover X Maps for North America (part number NA-T-200-D-MS) come in the box and include 12 months of free, easy updates- ensuring you always have the freshest data. Discover X maps are exclusive to the Simrad NSX series and provide Full Vector charts, Hi-Res Bathymetry, Custom Depth Shading, Day and Night modes, Tides and Currents, Detailed Marina Port Plans, Harbor and Approach Detail and subscription-free autorouting.

The Simrad NSX 3009 is also compatible with CMAP Discover REVEAL X charts, sold separately and also exclusive to the Simrad NSX series. This additional chart option provides premium features including a Shaded Relief REVEAL layer and Satellite Imagery. The shaded relief REVEAL layer provides 3D rendered land and underwater elevations including areas of ultra-high resolution. Satellite imagery allows for better situational awareness in unfamiliar areas. Due to the high level of detail, Reveal X maps are sold in smaller coverage areas.
