An internal library for MapMedia Vector and Raster charting allows you to choose the charts that fit your individual needs. If more detail is needed, C-MAP and Datacore by Navionics vector cartography are optional charts that can be unlocked. An enhanced mapping experience like no other, the Furuno TZT12F offers Satellite PhotoFusion technology which will be included in most MapMedia charts. A satellite image is merged with chart data to provide you with added detail on seabed areas in shallow water without losing vital chart information. For an even more detailed navigation experience, depth shading is added to both 2D and 3D vector and raster charts. Transparency levels can be adjusted at any time so chart data is visible beneath the color shading on the map. View water depths with just a glance with vibrant colors that you specify.

Each Furuno TZT12F MFD is built with a TZ Cloud and TZ First Mate App connectivity keeping you on top of your game while on the water. Never lose waypoints, routes, or settings with the TZ Cloud. Create routes at home using the TZ Navigator web browser or via the TZ iBoat iOS app on your smartphone or tablet. Retrieve them from the Cloud and download to your TZTouch3 MFD, or, send the synchronized data automatically from your TZT12F securely to your My TimeZero account. The TZ Cloud can also store routes, boundaries, photos, and catch data as well. Your time on the water is as important as the information you store and save.

A captain expects a flawless connection between themselves and their electronics, and Furuno kept that in mind with the TZ First Mate App. Over a wireless LAN network, via the NavNet Viewer App, you can conveniently view instruments and your Furuno fishfinder on a compatible smart device. Essential data such as depths, temperature, COG data, and engine data are right at your fingertips. Take full control of your TZT12F remotely from your smart device with the Remote App and easily view and control your entire TZTouch system with a scroll pad, cursor pad, and dedicated keys from any location on the boat. The Personal Bathymetric Generator will quickly create your own high-resolution Shaded Relief Maps using your TZtouch3 and the DFF3D with 3D transducer (sold separately) providing 50 depth points per ping. The Fish-It feature is a new addition via software update, which allows you to tap on a fishing location and instantly create a fishing GoTo point with a yellow course line between the boat and the Fish-it spot. The new Drift-it feature is a companion to the Fish-It feature providing a start drift point to your fishing spot. Drift times can be selected from 3 to 20 minutes. SiriusXM Fish Mapping provides Fishing Recommendation Areas for 6 fish species - Tuna, Billfish, Swordfish, Kingfish, Wahoo, and Mahi.
