10” Keypad Controlled Marine GPS

The 1022 GPS Chartplotter from Garmin has a stunning 10 inch display coupled with an easy to use keypad interface with user programmable keys and multi-function control knob. With a built-in 10 HZ GPS and GLONASS internal antenna, the unit refreshes position up to 10 times per second making the movement on the screen flawless. The 1022 is also compatible with optional Panoptix Transducers.

The GPSMAP 1022 does not come preloaded with detailed charting but if you would like detail charts you can add a Garmin G3 Vision Navionics Vision or LakeVu HD Ultra offering 1 foot contours and greater detailed charting. You can also save up to 5000 accurate waypoints and 100 routes to the GPSMAP1022.

Garmin offers several Premium chart options for this Garmin display including Garmin Navionics Vision+ charts. Garmin Navionics Vision+ charts include both coastal and inland coverage within the region of your choice. Data is sourced from Garmin and Navionics in order to provide you with exceptional detail. These charts include 1-year of daily updates, ensuring your chart data is always current! Premium features include High Resolution Relief Shading, High Resolution Satellite Imagery, Sonar Imagery, Aerial Photography, SideScan Images and More! Garmin Navionics Vision+ charts require premium content to be downloaded post purchase. Other chart options for this unit include Garmin BlueChart G3 Vision and Garmin LakeVu Ultra charts. All premium chart options are available in the region of your choice and sold separately.

Fully Networkable, the Garmin 1022 allows you the ability to network more than one unit and also allows you to add compatible radar, IP Cameras, Panoptix, and More. NMEA2000 and NMEA0183 enables autopilot, VHF, Weather, AIS and more to be connected as well and with industry-standard GPX software formatting, the 1022 allows you to swap your old waypoints to your new unit with ease. Built-In WiFi Connectivity – the 1022 with Wireless network connectivity for BlueChart mobile and Garmin Helm enables the mariner to view and control your compatible chartplotter from a compatible smartphone or tablet!

FLIR Camera Support is another exciting feature of the 1022. All next generation M-series models and new digital models are now supported with continuous zoom support and gyro stabilization control.
