The Varia RVR315 Rearview Radar gives cyclists peace of mind every time their tires hit the pavement. One Varia Radar can provide riders with multiple display options when paired with your compatible Garmin device or smartphone, or, both at the same time. A small design makes this device easier than ever to install and can be mounted on just about any bike with a vertical design that allows for better leg clearance for a more comfortable ride.
When paired with your smartphone with the Varia app, you gain increased awareness by receiving visual and audible alerts helping you indicate the speed and position of approaching cars. This can be done with the built-in rearview radar for vehicles approaching from behind up to 153 yards (140 meters) away.
Through your compatible smartphone the Varia radar system can integrate with some of your favorite apps such as Ride with GPS to overlay maps with a rearview radar alert. Up to 7 hours of battery life keeps you peddling without the worry of constantly being tied to a charger.
