Stay connected while on the water! The Garmin inReach Mini 2 is a palm sized satellite communicator with a battery life of up to 14 days in 10-minute tracking mode. Compact and lightweight, the inReach Mini2 can be attached to your backpack, belt loop, or anywhere else for easy access with the included carabiner clip. The inReach Mini 2 Marine Bundle includes a Marine Mount and hard wire 12V Power Cable, allowing for quick access at the helm.
Built into every inReach Mini2 is a digital compass that can provide you with accurate heading information even when you’re not moving. Create a starting point and begin your exploration and use the TracBack routing feature to follow the same trail right back to where you started. Navigating has never been easier! As you move along you can easily share your location with loved ones at any time (active satellite subscription required) simply by using the MapShare page, or, with coordinates that come imbedded into your messages sent.
With a compatible smartphone, your inReach Mini2 can sync wirelessly with the Garmin Explore app and website for easy trip planning and access to topographical mapping where you can create waypoints, see courses, and activities you have completed. Pair the inReach Mini2 with compatible wearables and handhelds and utilize them to send and receive messages and initiate an SOS (active satellite subscription required) without having to use the inReach device itself. Interactive SOS alerts provided added peace of mind. Simply trigger an SOS message and the Garmin IERCC (a 24/7 staffed emergency response coordination center) will send help.
