VHF 315 Radio with 30 Watt Active Speaker

The Garmin VHF 315 is a reliable modular style 25-watt VHF radio. Equipped with Class D DSC- the VHF 315 is certain to provide peace of mind to any mariner. Plug and play NMEA 2000 allows for numerical data sharing between your chartplotter (NMEA 2000 compatible) and the VHF 315.

Preprogrammed channels supporting US, Canadian, international marine channels, and 10 NOAA weather channels offer a wide range of frequencies to choose from. The VHF 315 features a built-in GPS receiver requiring an external antenna. This GPS position will ensure that your location is accurately relayed in the event that the DSC feature is activated.

The included GHS 11 handset and active speaker can serve as an intercom between up to 3 stations, guaranteeing that your message is heard loud and clear throughout your vessel. Simply press a key on the GHS 11 handset and speak into the handset to have your message projected through the included active speaker. Mount multiple speakers and GHS 11 handsets to create a larger system with multiple stations. Simple, intuitive and reliable- the Garmin VHF 315 is a great choice when it comes to onboard communication.
