Fixed Mount VHF with AIS Transceiver built-in!

See and be seen with B&G’s V60-B VHF radio with full Class B AIS transmitter and receiver capabilities allowing you to be seen by nearby AIS equipped vessels. Each V60-B has an internal GPS receiver but also comes with an external GPS-500 GPS antenna to ensure you receive the most accurate location data when your internal GPS receiver doesn’t get adequate reception.

This VHF radio allows nearby mariners to spot your vessel in any weather condition, day or night and the AIS data you receive from other vessels are displayed right on the radio’s built-in screen, or, you can overlay this data on your chart or radar screen on a compatible chartplotter. For added safety, this B&G radio offers a Navigation Mode and MOB Function. Simply press the NAV button and your V60-B is instantly a navigational instrument displaying your vessels speed and course data. Another key feature for added safety is the MOB function which allows you to quickly and easily drop a waypoint on your current location and the V60-B will enter Man Overboard mode to show you how far you are away you are and where you need to steer back to. This data for the MOB function will also be transmitted over NMEA 2000 to the rest of your network.

Fishing in a fleet of friends? The B&G V60-B has you covered. The Track Buddy feature will automatically request the position of another VHF radio at set intervals. It’s as easy as entering the MMSI number of the VHF into your contact list and let the tracking begin. You can also see your friend’s position on any compatible chartplotter as well. A removable fist mic can be connected to the front or rear of the V60-B with optional extension cables to allow your mic and radio to be mounted separately. This provides the end user with a simplified and cost effective solution for any mounting situation with no hanging cables. Add an additional H60 wireless handset so you can take your VHF radio virtually anywhere on board. The H60 handset duplicates the V60-B’s radio display and controls enabling remote access to all important functions. Up to two of the H60’s can be connected to this VHF radio and with multiple handsets connected to your V60-B, these will double as an on-board intercom.
