The V60 features a removable fist mic and the ability to add up to two optional wireless handsets (Sold separately), so you can communicate clearly from anywhere on the boat! The removable fist mic can be connected to the front or rear of the radio, making it a low-cost solution for multiple mounting locations. You can even mount the V-60 overhead without annoying hanging cables with the addition of an extension socket on your dash! If radio mounting location is of concern, this radio truly provides flexible options.
See nearby AIS-equipped vessels with the AIS receiver function. AIS information can be viewed on the radio's bright display or on your compatible chartplotter when connected via NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000. Simply press the NAV/MOB button to drop a waypoint on your current location allowing for easy retracing of your route! This MOB Waypoint can even be transmitted to the rest of your marine network via NMEA 2000.
Fishing in a fleet of friends? The B&G V60 has you covered. The Track Buddy feature will automatically request the position of another VHF radio at set intervals. It’s as easy as entering the MMSI number of the VHF into your contact list and let the tracking begin. You can also see your friend’s position on any compatible chartplotter as well.
