This mode allows users to us an ultralow power GPS reference keeping the Montana 710 tracking for more than two weeks between recharges.

Through the Garmin Connect app, you can plan ahead with Active Weather information which uses cellular connectivity to access up to date weather forecasts so you are prepared for what may come while your out. An optional display of federal public land boundaries over your topographical maps helps you know that you’re venturing where you are supposed to be. This is a great feature for hunters as well. Another added feature, perfect for the avid hunter or dog trainer is a dog tracking feature. This Montana series syncs flawlessly with compatible Alpha series handhelds (sold separately) to assist in tracking dogs in the field.
