Providing the same active area as two smaller displays, The NSX3015 offers a 15" ultrawide display with internal charting and sonar capabilities. A internal 10Hz GPS receiver quickly and efficiently locks into position while the simplified user interface with streamlined menus and fully customizable panels make the Ultrawide NSX3015 a top contender in marine electronics.
Packaged with C-Map Discover X charts for North America, map detail is super sharp and detailed coverage is included for both inland and coastal waters. Discover X charts offer tide & current information, detailed marina port plans, 12 months of free updates, subscription free easy routing, and so much more. High-resolution bathymetric layers help boaters identify shallow areas, drop offs and ledges with 1 ft contour lines. Set safety depths with custom depth shading so you see things your way, making navigation a breeze. Add optional C-Map Reveal X Charts for enhanced charting, Satellite Imagery and Shaded relief for 3D floor views. Exclusive to the Simrad NSX series, This additional chart option provides premium features including a Shaded Relief REVEAL layer and Satellite Imagery. The shaded relief REVEAL layer provides 3D rendered land and underwater elevations including areas of ultra-high resolution. Satellite imagery allows for better situational awareness in unfamiliar areas. Due to the high level of detail, Reveal X maps are sold in smaller coverage areas. You can even access X-Chart Manager and manage C-Map chart updates and upgrades directly from your device with the ability to choose custom areas for a near-instant download. NSX Ultrawide is also compatible with CMOR Mapping, Florida Marine Tracks, StrikeLines, Standard Mapping and More!
The included Active Imaging 3-in-1 Transducer provides M/H CHIRP, DownScan and Sidescan with temperature readings. See High-Res bathymetry and contour lines down to 1' of detail! The NSX 3015 also supports other transducers, sold separately. Other sonar options include 1kW single frequency CHIRP sonar and 50/200kHz Traditional sonar via the single 9-pin XSONIC transducer port on the back of the display. There are several transducer options available for the 3015 including in hull, thru hull and transom mounted options, however this model comes with a transom mounted transducer
Enhanced features found in the Ultrawide displays include superior integration with other Simrad Network components as well as a multitude of 3rd party manufacturers such as CZone Digital switching to RGBW lighting, audio and more. Class Leading Engine Control with Mercury SmartCraft Connect as well as exceptional compatibility with brands like Honda and Suzuki.
Fully network capable, The single network port located on the back of the display allows for connection to Simrads series of Halo Radars. A single NMEA 2000 port provides connectivity to AIS and NAC-1, NAC-2, NAC-3 and NAC-D autopilots. Currently the NSX series does not support weather accessories. A single USB port enabling modem plug-in for additional device connectivity as well as a single microSD card slot.
