The Simrad NSSEVO3s boasts a beautiful 12” hybrid touch display with a new intuitive IMX8 processor that delivers smooth menu transitions, quick chart refreshes, and faster page changes. New preloaded US charts that include improved higher-resolution inland and coastal coverage with easy routing capabilities. A new dark-themed wallpaper for less light pollution makes this hybrid display easy to see in the sunlight or low-light situations. An audio side bar can now expand itself into a full paged view and the addition of a chart orientation button to quickly switch instantly between North up, Heading up, and Course up without having to open a menu separately. A tide bar has also been added so each user can monitor tide changes with ease without having to leave the existing page.

Preloaded hi-resolution charts within the US for inland and coastal coverage and an imbedded layer of C-MAP reveal coverage for the ocean floor in Florida make this unit a go to for all of your navigational needs. In addition to the preloaded C-MAP charts, the NSS EVO3s is compatible with a wide-range of charting providers such as C-MAP and Navionics. A 2x faster page loading time allows each user to choose a split screen combination with 3D views or navigation perspective views with ease. Download the Simrad app to your compatible smartphone or tablet for instant unit mirroring. This provides each user full access to charts, radar, sonar, engine data, and more. When connected to a WiFi hotspot, wireless connectivity between your NSS12 EVO3s and smart device begins providing you the opportunity to perform software updates to access the latest features and accessory support. Through the Simrad app you will also gain access to manual downloads and device registration, right at your fingertips.

The Simrad NSS series supports the ActiveTarget Live Sonar System, Navico's highest resolution live sonar system. Compatibility with the WM-4 SiriusXM Satellite Receiver (sold separately) allows for SiriusXM Fish Mapping, a subscription-based service offered by SiriusXM. Shop the WM-4 Sirius XM receiver here. This service provides locations in the ocean with the highest likelihood of finding fish that anglers are trying to catch, helping you save time and fuel. This service includes all SiriusXM marine weather data, plus eight dedicated features for offshore anglers. Fishing Recommendations, Weed Lines, Sea Surface Height Anomaly, Sea Surface Temperature Contours, Sea Surface Temperature Front Strength, 30m Subsurface Sea Temperatures, Plankton Concentration Contours and Plankton Front Strength are all included. SiriusXM Fish Mapping also provides Fishing Recommendation Areas for 6 fish species - Tuna, Billfish, Swordfish, Kingfish, Wahoo, and Mahi. A software update may be required and can be downloaded at no cost from the manufacturer’s website.

Built with two 9 pin X-Sonic sonar ports, your NSS12 EVO3s can accept multiple transducer options such as CHIRP, Totalscan, and Forwardscan options and more providing you with the best sonar image on the water. With 2 network ports built into every NSS12, any of the Halo Pulse Compression radar systems can be added to your EVO3s to help you safely navigate in crowded harbors, under poor visibility, monitor weather, and locate flocks of birds for fishing hotspots. Full FLIR camera support provides day and night situational awareness by adding a FLIR M232 thermal camera to your boat. With the addition of this FLIR model, you will gain full view and control of the FLIR camera directly through the Simrad NSS and offers the ability to pan and tilt and offers a 360-degree view while underway and a resolution of 320x240. Add a Simrad WM-4 Sirius XM weather receiver and subscribe to one of Sirius’ marine weather subscriptions and gain full access to storm warnings, sea surface temperatures, lightning strikes and more. Users within the US will receive access to up to 150+ channels of SiriusXM satellite radio service that can be added at a discounted rate to a marine subscription while Canadian subscribers will have access to 130+ channels at a discounted rate.
