At the heart of the TZMAP13 is the TZ MAPS cartography platform which gives users control over the map data they choose to download including satellite imagery bathymetric data and customizable depth shading. These charts deliver remarkable clarity and detail that exceeds most premium cartography options. Users can create custom objects update charted features such as buoys and share information with other TZ MAPS users. Advanced routing tools are unlocked with purchased charts and waypoint and route data can be backed up or retrieved via the cloud.

The TZMAP13 also integrates Furuno’s renowned fish finding technology with a built-in single channel TruEcho CHIRP or CW fish finder and optional power levels of 300 W 600 W or 1 kW for scanning structure or marking targets in the water column. Additionally, the unit supports built in CHIRP side scan sonar which illuminates both port and starboard sides of the vessel revealing the shape of bottom structure and fish holding areas with vivid clarity. CHIRP Side Scan operates at center frequencies of 230 kHz or 445 kHz and includes multiple color presentations.
