The GPSMAP 1643 supports external sounder modules via network connection. The 1643 does not have an internal sounder, therefore if sonar is desired, an external sounder will be required. Select from Garmin Panoptix LiveScope Plus with GLS10 or the GSD series of sounder modules, all sold separately.
